Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;...
We have all sinned and do not deserve the glory of God. We are all sinners and need to have our sins blotted out and until this is done, we fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23A - For the wages of sin is death;...
Death is what one receives if they don't turn away from sin.

Romans 6:23B - ...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord...
The gift of God is eternal life--His gift to us--from refusing to be a slave to sin any longer.

Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us...
God sent Jesus to die in our place because of the great love He has for us. While we were still sinners, He died for us.

Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved...
Admit your sins - You must admit to God that you are a sinner and confess your sins to Him. Not only do we need to confess our sins, we need to repent - meaning to turn away from them.

Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved...
Receive Jesus as Lord and surrender your life to Him.

Are you ready to take the most important step of your life?
If you are and you understand what you have read, then all you have to do is ask Him to save you. Pray the prayer that follows or use your own words from your heart.

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

Now that you have prayed the prayer, what's next?
Welcome to God's family!
The next step is to tell someone about your new faith in Christ. Find a local church (if you are in the Fort Myers area we would love for you to join us) to help you grow in your faith, to worship, and for fellowship with other believers. Spend time with God every day by reading and studying the Bible, praying to God to help you grow in your faith and trust in Him.

Remember that salvation is a gift and a way of life. God has given us this plan because He loves us so much and does not wish that we should perish-but live forever......
